They grow up fast, huh? The Awaken Quite Alone E.P. has been out for six months now! I think that calls for a celebration…
From now on, the download of Awaken Quite Alone is free! Just enter $0 in the payment box (or a positive numerical value, if you’re feeling munificent).
The CD is still a mere $10 (including a free download to save you the hassle of ripping it yourself). And remember, the Creative Commons licence means I’m totally okay with you making copies of the songs and sharing them wherever, as long as you attribute them to Cavalcades, and as long as it’s not for profit.
Thanks for all your encouragement and support,
Fraser
Back in early August, I entered Cavalcades in Verbicide magazine‘s Unsigned Bands Contest. I just got an email to let me know that I made it through the first round! Now, it’s up to Verbicide’s readers – and you – to pick a winner. Voting could hardly be easier; just click –> here <– to view Cavalcades’ page, upon which you can click a thing to cast your vote. Do it! If I win, I’ll express my gratitude by giving you stuff – a badge, or some stickers, or perhaps a free download of the EP.
Love,
Fraser
I’ve arrived! I’m not really sure what else to say, other than that I’m looking forward to getting involved in the music scene here. This is a very nice city. I live close to the zoo, and today I went and saw some pygmy marmosets. I suppose I should have taken some photos; well, you’ll just have to take my word for it that those monkeys are small.
If you’re in Wellington, come and see me play at the Baobab Cafe’s open mic night this Thursday! It opens at 7pm.
(Tip for insiders: It’s cheaper here, though!)
Between 4 and 5pm, with Kasper Lake and The Willow Page. If you aren’t in Lyttelton this Saturday afternoon, you can listen online at Volcano Radio’s website.
